Installation Electrician (3-Phase) JOB – Solar Industry

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in solar energy systems and 3-phase electrical installations. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, issuing Certificates of Compliance (COC), and ensuring all installations meet industry regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct hands-on inspections of solar electrical installations and issue COCs upon compliance.
• Identify and resolve electrical issues on-site, providing immediate fixes where necessary.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager to address unresolved issues and schedule follow-up visits.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards for all electrical work.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and work performed.
• Assist installation teams with troubleshooting and providing guidance.

Requirements:

• Valid Wireman’s License
• Registered as an Electrical Contractor with the Department of Labour
• Experience with solar PV systems and 3-phase electrical installations
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work under pressure and with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Valid driver’s license
